Faculty Support and Training

Faculty (and staff supporting faculty in the development of academic courses) are encouraged to take advantage of the following:

1. CIT Workshops including overview sessions and tool specific training such as Gradebook, Assignments, Discussion Boards and more. Visit http://cit.duke.edu/events/sakai/ for a schedule and registration information.
2. Sakai Office hours: Visit http://cit.duke.edu/events/sakai/ for a listing of dates. No-preregistration is required.
3. CIT staff are also available for 1-1 consultations or custom departmental training (groups of 5 or more). Contact the CIT to arrange a time.

Student Support and Training

Students are encouraged to download and review the Student Quick Start Guide.

Project Site Support

OIT Training provides OnDemand training for departments and groups (of 5 or more) who are using Sakai to develop non-academic ‘Project’ sites. Fill out the OIT On Demand Training Form to request training.
